Great for Quilters This rotary cutter works great for quilters. Perfect for those who forget to put the guard back on after use. This is perfect because it closes after each use which drastically reduces the risk of getting seriously injured by an exposed blade.
Fiskars Ergo Deluxe Rotary Cutter This is a real handy tool. Everything is great about it, except the retractable cover does not retract like it is supposed to. This is a complaint that I read about in other reviews even before I bought it. However, do not try to push the cover with your finger because the blade is extremely sharp. I came up with a very easy way of closing the safety cover without having to touch it or use any tool. I simply held the cutter upside down and pushed the safety cover against a hard, flat surface such as a countertop or your work space and allowed the hard surface to push it closed. I scrapbook and bought it to cut certain designs very quickly using the different blades that can be used. I recommend this product.
