Comes in handy but has some flaws This Singer pen comes with a fine point tip for detail work and a larger size tip for general marking. I like the fact that the disappearing ink is not permanent, and I don’t have to wash it off. However, the disappearing ink can also pose a problem when it disappears too quickly. It’s supposed to last a few days, but it’s gone within hours. That may be okay for some people; but I left my work for a few hours, came back, and the markings were gone. When the fabric color obscures the purple ink a little bit, I’m unable to see it within minutes. The disappearing ink also transfers onto my scissors and makes the cutting edge tacky. I had to go wash it off my scissors, which it does easily.Although it’s not perfect, the Singer marker does come in handy. I’ll give it three stars.

Way better than Dritz I had been using the but wasn’t really happy with it. It always dried out too quickly and also made it difficult to mark on the fabric without having to press hard enough to distort it. I haven’t had a single problem with the Singer brand, though. The ink flows freely and has lasted so far. I like having the choice of tip size, though I don’t often use the fine point, mostly because it’s a little hard to see. I didn’t find that the ink disappeared any faster than other brands, but I did find that it washes off with water more readily than others.Either way, I haven’t found any down sides to this brand of pen so I’m going to keep using it.
