straight pins I received the order as expected. The pins are a handy size and their tips are sharp enough to go through 3-4 layers of flannel. I like the pins having different colors, so I can avoid adding same color pins, e.g., avoid white-headed pins on a white cloth. That way, the pins of more visible colors are easier to spot and remove. The product packaging says glass head pins are safe to iron over. While I did not actively iron over them, I did re-iron the cloth after inserting the pins, and the hot iron did touch the glass heads. I did not see any visible damage to the pins or my iron.

they sure are pins… i received what i had ordered, to date none of the heads have come off… so if they are heavily used you know they will last a bit…

work like they should No problems with the heads staying attached. I like the glass heads because they don’t melt if you hit one with the iron. The large head is visible on the carpet if you should drop one. and easier to use with hands that aren’t quite as agile as they were when you were younger. I highly recommend spending the extra $ for the glass heads over the plastic
