Works Well When you use thinner material it does a double ruffle like a dream. It took some getting used to but now I love it. Had to make 14 little girl’s costumes with ruffles and it saved me many hours of frustration,

gathering for skirts I really liked this product. This is the first piece of clothing I’ve sewn since junior high (don’t ask how long that’s been), and it turned out really well. I made two gypsy skirts I saw in a magazine. It called for gathering by pulling threads and I knew there and then that I would use your gathering foot. It worked. Even with cotton, which is a medium fabric, if you set the machine for the longest length and the highest tension, you get a really good gather. I will definitely use this on future sewing projects. I just wanted to add that I use a low shank Singer machine.
