Great! Does exactly what you’d expect! Its plastic slider is nice and firm, so you don’t have to worry about it sliding around. It’s pretty lightweight and probably won’t last exceedingly long, but for that price, that’s fine. This has been invaluable for adding seam allowances and otherwise measuring tricky little things.
dritz sewing gauge I thought this gadget was just for hemming, but it is useful in many sewing projects including quilting. Once you start using it you will find you want one in each sewing area.
Good Value I bought this ruler more for hemming my garments than anything else. Instead of using my tape measure that slips and slides, this ruler is locked into the correct measurement thereby making my hemming go much faster (and accurate). I used the ruler this morning when I had to make a seam for a lapped zipper. It was great. It’s a good value for a small amount of money.
