Best Hem Gauge Ever I love this guage. You can use it in a multitude of ways, iron over it, do both a straight hem and a curved one. I recommend for any level of sewing.
great gadget I am very happy to have purchased this gauge. I was making curtains, and the gauge made short work of turning up the hem and sides along with having them all uniform on each panel. I now realized how much of my guessing the turning up of edges was way off. It does get hot and moist when using steam, but worth it. So, watch your fingers! I think I will invest in the larger size now for draperies. My only complaint was the packaging for shipping. The gauge was only put into a manila envelope which got bent in transport. Luckily, the gauge was still usable. I informed Amazon of the poor packaging. Hope shipping will be rectified in the future. So often items are over packaged. This is one that should have been.
I’ve had EZY-HEM for over 50 years, used a lots making clothes and other things. Very pleased . Misplaced it for a while and found it again few weeks ago. Boy, was I glad!!! The one I have was Scovill-Dritz EZY-Hem, designed by Edna Bryte Bishop, originator of the Bishop Method of Clothing Construction. After many years of use, this thing still looks new!! Just a little history.
